ROSES WITH THORNS

twenty twenty five was a year of roses with spiky prickles
and imagining pure lands while living in this world of horrors
a year of dancing with reality apparent phenomena
when no one really knows who or what reality really is
or if something can even be ever called such thing as real
a year of even more extremes and all kinds of disasters
but also of real majestic heart gifts of love and friendships
a year learning how to speak in flowers instead of in words
when both joy and heartbreak fill and overwhelm the inside
with happy tears that come from joy when seeing those
few inspiring people in this world inspiring others
not giving up humanity and still having much hope
and with sad tears that come from heartbreaks
when seeing human rights in danger of extinction
and separation and mistrust abiding between all of us

but may twenty twenty six be a year with happy minds
may it be a year when we finish our unfinished business
without going any moment on the edge of burnout 
so nothing holds us back anymore and we can be
free to live and love honestly with courage and just be
and add peace to the world and not more mess
and do all things that will make others remember us
as kind and warm hearted when we will be gone
and think about this more often to stay present
so may twenty twenty six just be a big love year

how much surface the mind covers
and it expands in all directions
and how much the body shrinks

balance power reality and bears
wide valleys and shiny stones in Ladakh
my favourite place this year on Earth
seeing most precious jewel His Holiness
with fifty thousand enthusiastic others
apricot kernels and sea buckthorns
and anything else from that magnificent land
a very special apple from a very special friend
banana fry and empty beach in south India

plain pink complete trust and support
taking Sven the mouse to church at night
